We would not recommend this item for cutting hydraulic hose. While it is very sharp the opening for the blades is rather small and it's designed specifically for cutting wire rope, and meant to leave a nice, clean shear cut. We do not have a specific tool to offer for cutting hydraulic hose unfortunately.
