As long as the load applied to the hook is applied evenly (i.e., not a sudden/shock load) and it does not exceed 20 Tons, then you should be fine. This hook is rated just over 20 Tons with a 4:1 safety factor. Be sure to avoid common rigging pitfalls, such is tip loading or side loading the hook.
