For most rigging applications, a safety factor of 5:1 is recommended. That would mean taking 48,000 (the Breaking Strength, in pounds) and dividing by five. The result is 9,600 lbs which should be a suitable Working Load Limit for most applications, however, we recommend you have a qualified rigger on site during use to help determine such things.
