Unfortunately we cannot confirm one way or the other. We have nothing to indicate that it would or would not work on bicycle chain. From the manufacturer: "Low speed conveyor, drive chains, hoists, winches, pulleys, cushion pins, rollers, garage doors, bushings, seals, o-rings, and come-alongs."
