Wire rope such as this is not assigned a Working Load Limit, but rather a Breaking Strength. From there, it's a matter of how you're using the wire rope, and what kind of a safety factor you need. Generally, a safety factor of 5:1 is considered the minimum. In this case, 5:1 comes out to 6,960 lbs (34,800 / 5). But again, there are other factors and you need to look at how this wire rope will be used. Will it be running through multiple pulleys, and if yes, what is the diameter and line angle for those pulleys, etc.
