Well, that's tough for us to answer and we try not to take sides. But given the specs on this new chain, we have to say it is every bit as good. The HRC rating is there, along with a galvanized finish. It's also 1mm larger, which could be considered good or bad. The real kicker is that it's thru-hardened. Really, you can't go wrong with either option. Pewag and Laclede both make great chain.
