Yes, the tap size is inclusive of the bushing and will fit a 1.5" shaft. The sheaves are not independently load rated, rather, they are designed to work with the specified size of wire rope in common constructions (i.e., 6x19 or 6x36) and will meet the published breaking strength of said wire rope. Ultimately, the way sheaves are configured and the angles they see, or not, varies greatly in the field.
