Yes, this cable cutter has plenty of capacity to cut 3/8" cable in a standard construction such as 7x19 or 6x19. The max cut diameter is 15/16", just under 1" diameter.

We are needing a clean cut on 3/8" 7 x 19 galvanized aircraft cable. After cutting the cable we need to install nico press sleeve so we need a good cut.
