The pin on this shackle measures approximately 0.63" and the inside width on a 7/16" windlass chain link should be around 0.66". Given those measurements, it should work, but with any variation in mfg. tolerances it could be possible to have a pin too big and a chain too small. Without being able to do a test fit, we couldn't say with certainty.
