We only recommend 9/32" security chain when customers want the lightest possible solution. If you can handle the extra weight, we always recommend stepping up to 3/8" or even larger. Of course we cannot test each chain against every bolt cutter on the market, so it's impossible for us to give such statistics. But to put it simply, bigger is better, and tougher, when it comes to security chain. Our products are backed by the manufacturers' warranties, which generally guarantee an item to be free from defects upon receipt. There is no additional lifespan warranty on a chain like this (for example, your chain is cut with a torch or powered angle grinder, etc.).
