This binder can be used with the following chains:
Grade 30: 3/8" and 1/2"
Grade 43: 3/8" and 1/2"
Grade 70: 3/8"
Grade 80: 3/8"
Grade 100: 3/8"
Since Grade 30 and Grade 43 tie down chains are not common today, this binder is really intended for us with 3/8" Grade 70, Grade 80 or Grade 100. The trend is toward higher quality tie down chains and binders that achieve more strength without the bulky size.
