The Warn block rating is likely the Breaking Strength whereas Crosby is showing the Working Load Limit, which has a 6:1 safety factor. That means the Crosby shackle is likely much stronger than the Warn block, but I do not have all the details to confirm this 100%. With an 8,000 lbs winch, most customers use only a 5/8" or 3/4" shackle. You also want to make sure that the shackle will fit/work with your block (the pin or "ear" will fit through the opening on the block, etc.).
