It appears you're asking if 7/8" galvanized cable is stronger than regular 7/8" steel cable. The answer to that question is no, it's the opposite. Galvanized cable is generally a little weaker, and in this case, it's a difference of 8,000 lbs. 7/8" Galvanized @ 71,600 lbs and regular cable @ 79,600 lbs. These are published catalog strengths and the actual Breaking Strength will vary slightly (always a little higher than what is published).
