That is tough to say, because we cannot test all of the different cutting methods out there, and I know Pewag doesn't either. Ultimately this is the smallest and least theft-deterrent chain we offer @ 7mm in size. The 7mm chain is a matter of visual deterrence and lightweight portability, but if you're truly concerned about theft, I would go bigger. I would recommend stepping up to 3/8" if you want real security.
