Sheaves generally are not assigned Working Load Limits but rather are designed to achieve a certain efficiency rating based on the published catalog strength of the wire rope being used with the sheave. Keep in mind that sheaves are only grooved to work with a specific size of wire rope. See the attached chart for reference.
