It's a bit of an engineering question, and these were really designed to hold in soil, so we can give only a qualified yes, we think your solution will work fine.
I plan on anchoring a 40 foot container on each corner and pouring 20 inches thick concrete with the shaft of the anchor running through the concrete and then welding a plate of steel to the shaft then welding the container to the plate. The anchor would be going straight down. Would this work? 1" x 8" x 66" Helical Auger Anchor - 11000 lbs Max Capacity
