This is not a true hard lay rope, it is easily spliced by hand, especially in the smaller sizes.
Is this a hard lay or somewhat softer? We use this line primarily for general use on deck and would prefer the softer lay. I have seen it both very hard lay for crabbing and a a softer lay for good handling. We are looking for the softer lay for general use..tie downs, easy to coil, and dock line.
