I plan on locking up an electric bike. Sometimes I leave it on my rv bike rack overnight at a campground or I may leave for a while and go to dinner etc. I also use the bike to go to grocery store. So, I'm concerned not only about security but weight. What is the weight of 6' of the 3/8" chain lock combo vs. the 9/32" combo and what would you recommend?

The 3/8" kit (PW-13620-K6) weighs about 11.82 lbs while the 9/32" kit (PW-21148-K6) weighs only 5.22 lbs. There is a big difference in terms of the chain weight per foot, and also the respective padlocks used. In terms of security, 3/8" will be much more durable, cut-resistant and theft-deterrent than 9/32". That said, we have many happy customers using 9/32" security chain.
