Would this type of cable be suitable for hanging insiders a bore hole and supporting a mining power cable for underground use. The cable weighs 12 pounds per foot, and Im theyll be about 550 feet hanging on it

Hard to say without seeing any kind of drawing or picture. It's unclear how the two cables will be attached and what kind of ultimate load this EHS cable will see. As long as it's nowhere near 15,000 lbs, you should be okay.
