I am wondering if the width of this chain (not the thickness of the links), is narrower than your Pewag 1/2" security chain. I have the Pewag chain that I purchased from you but it is a struggle to fit it through a narrow space around the axle of my trailer--I need something a bit narrower. If you can suggest another chain that fits the ABUS 37/70 lock (that I also have I would like that suggestion as well because I would not need to buy a kit with another lock).

The Peerless chain would be a good option. It has an overall width of 1.54", smaller than the 1/2" Pewag chain @ 1.67". The Peerless chain also has an inside width of 0.66" which makes it big enough to work with the Abus 37/70 Granit padlock.
