Without seeing your exact scenario it's hard to say. This cable has a tensile strength of over 15,000 lbs so provided it's not seeing anywhere near that, you should be okay.
We are dropping power cable down a bore hole and we are using cable to help support the power cable. Will this cable withstand the weight vertically. My cable weighs 6000lb. 3/8" 1x7 EHS Galvanized Guy Strand Cable - 15400 lbs Breaking Strength
