I see the manufacturer recommends using a 3.5 cubic inch saw with the winch. I have a Echo CS-590 that specs @ 3.64ci. Will that bit of size difference be ok to use and not void any warranty?

We had to do some checking, and we did. This is what we got back:

The Echo CS-590 would be a perfect option to use with the Capstan Winch. The primary reason a 3.5 ci powerhead is recommended is because it is the ideal power and weight. Enough power to perform as designed and it will keep the weight lite enough to be portable. Smaller and larger displacement powerheads have been used for years with no issue. Smaller displacements won't be able to perform to the winches capabilities.
