Can this rope with the urethane coating be used as a fall arrest rope, in conjunction with a rope grab type of fall protection device?

The rope is certainly strong enough, however it is really designed as a rigging rope, and not a fall protection rope. Additionally, we would recommend you check with the manufacturer of your particular device to see what restrictions/limitations they have re: rope selection.
