Does this come in other colors such as black? Is it basically a loop strap?

We only stock it in purple (they are color-coded for length), but if you need a large enough quantity, we can probably order it in black as well. These products are tubular webbing sewn into a circle, yes. Tremendous strength-to-weight ratio.
