To drive a Duckbill Anchor to the full depth of its cable, would you not need a drive rod at least a little bit longer than the cable? Which is to say, how for an 88-DB1 Anchor, which is shown as having a 3.5' cable, can one properly drive it with a DS-68 Rod, which is listed at 36" long (and is described as being used with the 88 Anchor)? Thank you.

This has not come up as an issue for us, no. Remember you need at least some of the cable protruding from the soil in order to make connection with it.
