For 3/4" clamps, it's recommended by the mfg. to use 4 clamps per connection. If installed properly and not overloaded, then yes, these clamps will hold and are a good choice for lashing, but not lifting.
I want to make a loop with this stuff and use 2 clamps to hold the loop together. By using these cable clamps can I be assured the loop will hold together at the rated breaking strength. I guess I mean will the clamps slip at all? 3/4" 6x19 Class Galvanized Wire Rope - 53000 lbs Breaking Strength
