Please see the attached image. I just grabbed a few of these off the shelf and snapped a pic with my iPhone. The truth is the color can vary quite a bit from one helmet to the next. Overall I would say the color is consistent, but some helmets are darker than others. Lighting plays a role too. In this photo, I'm not sure how clear it is, but the helmet at far right is the darkest of the bunch.
