Technically, the blue tongs are for skidding only, not lifting. The size of these tongs is 1" x 4" x 20". The 1" is the material diameter, then 4" is the minimum opening and 20" is the max opening. The wider you open them, the weaker they are. They will grab a log up to 20" in diameter, but their ultimate capacity depends on how long the log is, how tough the terrain is, etc.
