It will withstand moderate heat, but you can expect it to melt if exposed to high temperatures. For example, we cut the chafe sleeve using a hot knife.
Can the material withstand high temp heat? I would like to use it with my existing chain to wrap around my motorcycles engine. 2-1/2" Nylon Chafe Sleeve
