In looking at the Crosby Application & Warning sheet, it says: Do not use WIRELOCK with stainless steel rope in salt water environment applications.
Can this product be used on/in a socket for stainless steel wire--300, 304, 316, etc.? Also what fluid/chemical is used to clean/etch the stainless steel wires prior pouring the Wirelock? Thanks for your time in advance. Crosby W416-7 Wirelock Spelter Socket Resin 500 CC Jar - #1039606
