Why does it say that this model is not for marine use?
Skookum SK4M Aluminum Utility Block - 3 Ton WLL
Interested in something that won't rust for marine use, this seems perfect but in the catalog it says not for marine use. Why is that?

In checking with Skookum, the manufacturer, they have no specific reason that it cannot be used in marine environments. They noted it may not have been designed for the marine market but that there is nothing inherent in the product's design that would prohibit it from such use.
