I want to use this to pull heavy loaded pallets (2000 -4000 lbs) From the inside of my semi dry van to the edge with a fork lift. Then the fork lift can take the pallets from there. About 75 ft should work. I'll put a couple of hooks On it. Will it be able to pull that weight horizontally? Pull roughly 50 feet the most. I'm getting tired of having to pallet jack them. What is the minimum load requirement for this clamp? I would be using this clamp to habitually lift 3/8" thick steel plate that weighs between 375 and 400 lbs in a 36" x 98" sheet. Since it is advisable for safety and longevity of the clamp to lift as close to the max capacity as possible, if this clamp will not work, do you have another model # that will? View answer
