I want to vertically raise a model railroad set 5-6 feet to clear floor space in my garage, and also to save my marriage. The train set is mounted on a 4x8 feet sheet of 5/8" plywood and is HEAVY. It contains rail track, several light plastic buildings, and a 10x18' panel to house transformers (the xformers can be removed to save weight when lifting). I have hooked up 3/8" rope to each of the 4 plywood corners. Solutions? View answer

I purchased this with the 50 foot rope and love it. I am an advanced home owner as far as the cutting use is concerned but don't trust my splicing skills. Can I buy just the 100 ft rope with the spliced hook since I already have the puller? Can't find that option on the site. View answer

I inherited 3 of these from my wifes grandpa when he retired and sold his truck. I absolutely love them! However I noticed there are a few spots where the plastic has split and the inner rope is showing. Folks, I called and spoke with someone yesterday. They were very nice. The info they gave me does not seem to be accurate however. Here is what I am looking for and asking. I want to buy chain (5/16 to 3/8th). I want American made or at least not China. I want the choker hooks to also be American or simply not China. It appears when you buy the hooks individually most of them say imported. Can you confirm where they are imported from. Then if you look at the chain and hooks together some say USA/Imported. My assumption is the hooks are imported once again. Can you tell me where the imported hooks are made AND if you have any combo that is all American. Thank you in advance.
