Was thinking this 3/8" pewag security chain, but want it 3 1/2 - 4 foot length and with a slip noose link, so can cinch it and use a pock lock. For a utility trailer around axel and through wheel into a puck lock. Do you sell the ring that I could take and have welded onto one end of chain? View answer

Hello. What part of this design makes it not usable for overhead lifting? I am looking for a shackle like this for the utility industry that will be able to slip through the fiberglass/shieve portion at the end of our digger-derricks without damaging the fiberglass.
