I am working on building a rope ladder. It will be outside, in the elements and the sun and heat and rain. People as heavy as 250 lbs will climb on it. I am looking for a strong, and very low stretch rope at a good price. Would this work? The weight rating seems right, I am most curious about how much it will stretch under load. View answer

Is this a hard lay or somewhat softer? We use this line primarily for general use on deck and would prefer the softer lay. I have seen it both very hard lay for crabbing and a a softer lay for good handling. We are looking for the softer lay for general use..tie downs, easy to coil, and dock line. View answer
